A samples marketplace: one search, one box, next morning
A platform where material brands list their products and architects order samples, free for professionals, delivered next morning in a single box. We built the multi-vendor core: brand panels, a search-first catalog and sample logistics, on the BEAM cycle in a fixed scope.

The marketplace
Search-first: the catalog is the product
Architects search across every brand at once, browse by category and order samples into one overnight box. Brands keep ownership of their data, the platform normalises it so search and spec sheets actually work.

An example build: it shows the scope, pace and delivery model of a typical BEAM engagement. The brand shown is illustrative, hence the blurred logo.
The operations
Brands onboard themselves, the platform does the rest
Each brand gets a panel: products, sample stock and order handling. Seedlight modules on top automate catalog quality and show which brands and categories drive orders.
01
AI Workflows
Brand catalogs arrive in every format imaginable. Attribute mapping, categorisation and description workflows normalise them on the way in, 18,000 products stay searchable without a data team.

02
Analytics
Sample orders per brand and category, search terms with no results and specifier activity in one view. This is what the platform sells back to brand partners, and what decides the roadmap.

MVP in week 10. Adding a brand is onboarding, not a project.
The marketplace launched with 24 brands and next-day sample delivery. New brands onboard through their own panel, and the catalog quality holds because normalisation is automated.
