Seedlight BEAM
One place to run
your whole eCommerce.
BEAM is the platform we build for you and the way we deliver it. Your store, sales channels, product data and processes in one place, with AI agents that know your context. Four stages: Blueprint, Engineering, AI Automation, Maintenance & Growth.
Why one place, and why it matters
Most eCommerce projects fail before development starts. The scope is too vague, the business process is not understood, and the client expects a new platform while the real problem hides in product data, integrations, manual work or marketplace operations.
AI made this worse, not better: tools generate code fast, but without commerce context and governance the result is chaos in production. AI-native does not mean "AI writes the store". It means the whole delivery system, from planning to daily operations, is built around AI where it creates real value, with people accountable for the outcome.
There is a second problem, quieter and more expensive. In a typical store the catalog sits in one admin, orders in another system, stock in the ERP, contract prices in a spreadsheet, feeds in a marketing tool and decisions in email threads. Nobody sees the whole picture, because there is no place from which the whole picture is visible.
BEAM is that place. We build your platform on open source you own, most often on Medusa, and everything that runs your sales meets there: channels, product data, price rules, integrations and automations. That is also what makes AI agents useful rather than decorative, because an agent that can reach your real data answers questions instead of guessing.
The more of your context lives there, from documentation and reports to what was agreed and why, the better those recommendations get. And you decide what the platform sees: access is written down, the default is read only, and anything that changes state asks a human first.
So BEAM is two things at once: the platform you end up running your eCommerce from, and a repeatable way to launch, run and grow it, with fixed scopes and clear pricing at every stage.
Weeks, not months
A platform in weeks, not months
Fixed scope, an AI-native delivery system and no open-ended discovery, so you launch in weeks, while a traditional build is still in meetings.
Same scale, kickoff to launch, then ongoing

Blueprint
Plan the platform before building the platform
Blueprint is not a long audit, not a 100 page document and not consulting for the sake of consulting. It is the first stage of platform delivery: a focused engagement that turns uncertainty into a buildable plan.
Fixed feeOpen the Blueprint stage
Blueprint turns uncertainty into a buildable plan and a firm price, inside one quote with the build.

Engineering
Launch or migrate the platform in a controlled scope
We build or migrate the platform in a fixed, controlled scope. The goal is not to rebuild the whole company at once. The goal is to launch a strong foundation that can sell, operate and grow.
Fixed priceOpen the Engineering stage
We do not sell technology as the main promise. The stack matters, but you are not buying a stack. You are buying a working platform that gives you more control, faster development and better foundations for growth.
Depending on the project, this includes
- New storefront
- Commerce backend
- Product import
- Checkout and payments
- Core integrations
- Order flow
- Basic automation layer
- Deployment and monitoring
- Launch support

AI Automation
Use AI to reduce manual work, not to create noise
AI is not a separate product. It is part of the commerce system: a controlled layer inside the platform, used where it creates real operational value. Not because it sounds modern, and not because every process needs a chatbot.
Scoped per workflowOpen the AI Automation stage
Every AI feature follows one rule: if it does not save time, improve quality or support sales, we do not build it.
Typical automation areas
- Product descriptions
- Translations
- Marketplace content localization
- Attribute mapping
- Product categorization
- Listing error analysis
- Customer support suggestions
- Sales reporting
- Margin and pricing insights
- Internal operations assistants

Maintenance & Growth
Keep the platform healthy and improve sales after launch
Launch is not the end of the project. It is the beginning of the platform’s real life. Most agencies split this into reactive support or open ended development. We combine platform care with ongoing work on sales performance.
Retainer + success feeOpen the Maintenance & Growth stage
Small improvements happen inside the retainer. Bigger features are priced separately as Feature Sprints. The platform stays healthy, the backlog stays controlled.
What it includes
- Monitoring and bug fixing
- Updates and security
- Integration checks
- Small improvements
- Product data improvements
- Conversion improvements
- Marketplace support
- Sales channel optimization
- AI workflow improvements
- Monthly growth priorities
Example Feature Sprints

How BEAM is billed
A simple commercial model
You always know what you are paying for and what you get back.
Blueprint
Fixed fee
You pay for a focused plan, scope and delivery recommendation.
Launch / Migration
Fixed price
You pay for a defined platform outcome, not for hours.
Feature Sprints
Fixed price
Larger features, tools, integrations and automations, each with a clear scope and outcome.

FAQ
Questions about BEAM
What is BEAM, exactly?
BEAM is our delivery framework for eCommerce platforms, in four stages: Blueprint, Engineering, AI Automation and Maintenance & Growth. Each has a fixed scope, a clear price and a defined outcome, so a project never turns into open-ended development.
Do I have to commit to all four stages?
No. A launch or migration covers Blueprint and Engineering; AI Automation and a growth retainer are separate decisions you can make later, or never. The agreement covers what you actually ordered, not an open-ended engagement.
How long does it take?
Weeks, not months. A build of this shape typically runs 8 to 12 weeks from kickoff, a range agencies on several markets quote for the same scope. What we commit to is the date itself: it is fixed with the scope and the delivery system is AI-native, there is no open-ended discovery phase.
Is AI-native just vibe coding?
The opposite. AI accelerates delivery, but every project is built with engineering discipline: a spec before code, reviews, tests and people accountable for the outcome. AI lives inside the platform where it saves real work, not as a gimmick.
What do you build on?
A modern commerce stack (Medusa as an open-source foundation) with the integrations your business needs. But the stack is not the promise, you are buying a working platform you control and own, not a technology.
What if I only need a migration, or just automation?
That is fine. BEAM scales down as well as up, a controlled migration is an Engineering engagement, and automations are scoped per workflow. The Blueprint tells us which stages you actually need.
How much does it cost?
Fixed price per stage, with the exact number coming from the Blueprint. Blueprint is a small fixed fee, Engineering a fixed price for the scope, AI Automation is priced per workflow, and Maintenance & Growth is a monthly retainer.
What happens after launch?
Maintenance & Growth takes over: a retainer that keeps the platform healthy and moves the roadmap, with bigger features run as separate fixed-price Feature Sprints. The backlog stays controlled.
